Cuban activists call on Lithuania to block EU pact with Havana

Cuban activists in Vilnius are calling for Lithuania to block the EU-Cuba pact signed in 2016. Only Lithuania is yet to ratify the deal. “Lithuanians are at the crossroads. Petition delivered to the Spanish Congress in favor of political prisoners in Cuba

The promoters of Cuba Decide in Madrid summoned Cubans and people from all over the world to demand the immediate release of José Daniel Ferrer and the rest of the political prisoners on the Island. The petition collected citizens’ signatures and was delivered to all the parliamentary groups of the Spanish Congress of Deputies, demanding the freedom of political prisoners in Cuba.
