On September 8th, for the Sunflower Revolution, Cubans inside the Island took to the streets in defense of their rights and liberties, demanded freedom from the Castro-communist regime, and the release of all political prisoners.
International participation in the Sunflower Revolution was widespread with protests by Cubans living in the Netherlands, Ecuador, the United States, Germany, France, Canada, Switzerland and other countries.
