Decree-law 370 is a harmful law that regulates Internet use in Cuba and calls for the supervision of wireless networks and the limitations for online publications. Through this law, the government gains control over the online activities of its citizens, providing the legal basis for the arbitrary punishment of critical reporting by the authorities. Many journalists have been targeted, fined or imprisoned as a result of this law further propagating media suppression in Cuba.
