On May 16, 2020, the Fundación para la Democracia Panamericana, in collaboration with Cuba Decide promoters and the City of Miami, invited the greater Miami community, organizations and those part of the Cuban diaspora to participate in a humanitarian aid collection called “Solidaridad Entre Hermanos.”
Hundreds of families participated in the donation day. The objective of the collection was to collect and send donated goods to the Island so that they may be received and distributed directly by the Churches and members of independent civil society who have expressed their willingness and desire to assist, given the serious crisis that Cuban families are facing.
